THE LEGACY OF BLACK EXCELLENCY
Black Excellency was created in 2018 by D. Dugger. Black Excellency was created to acknowledge the African-American as a key architect in the development of the United States of America through labor, innovation, and Perseverance. “Black” and “Excellency” are two completely separate words that were grouped together for different reasons to form a single statement.
Black - was meant to be demeaning and negative as it is used to describe the African-American here in the United States but is unbelievably powerful. The color black represents strength, seriousness, power, and authority.
Excellency – became a part of the name because of how it is used in other societies. Excellency is the term used to greet high-ranking officials as a sign of respect.
The goal is to make Black Excellency a way of life among all individuals. Black Excellency is my vision of how we should view Black People given their Countless contributions and sacrifices.
Throughout history the only thing that has been acknowledged consistently is that African-Americans were slaves. We have always been so much more than what has been accredited to us. We are and continue to be the foundation that this country is built upon.
